Ready to Roll

Great news! Annis is packed, taxes paid, and ready for a week in the company of two of her most entertaining, intelligent and photogenic cousins.
If she has ask me, which she didn't, I would suggest that she start with pants laid in the bottom of the suitcase...legs hanging out the sides...followed by knits rolled into tight little rolls and laid in side by side...think socks all in a row...filling all the available space. Shoes go on the bottom end of the case..with small items filling the cavity....and finally the pants legs pulled in and smoothed out on the top of the pile. With this technique...I have five pairs of pants, pj's, sweater, sweatshirt, a fleece top, three long sleeve t necks, one pair of shoes, a winter coat and of course...7 days of underwear...in a carry on bag! All of the stuff they want to examine in security is contained in a separate bag...which I will empty into a minimum of three trays for the scanner dudes at the airport..... The only thing I have not packed is Tony's blanket.

Also, I'm a bit concerned that Annis has not down loaded the pictures from her camera since 2009. We'll have to talk about that..... She will have to take a lot of pictures of the "ford".... the French food...and of course...the good looking cousins.
